My Dad always taught me to tell a story… At first it applied to my writing, but I discovered at an early age my true passion lies in visual storytelling. I put down the pen and paper and picked up a camera and never looked back.
My love for photography started in middle school. I discovered the camera’s magical ability to capture the world around me and I began documenting “day in the life stories,” my very first form of reportage. I wrote every report I could on cameras and famous photographers and my mom took me on special trips to San Francisco to see photography exhibits.
During college I put my love for photography to the side and focused on fashion. After graduation I moved to Los Angeles and worked in the fashion industry for 4 years, and while it was fun and such and amazing experience, it never felt like the right fit.
I wanted to do something I was passionate about, something that made me happy, something I wanted to do every day for the rest of my life. After many soul searching conversations I knew I had to return to my first passion and become a professional photographer.
Starting my own business in 2009 was completely overwhelming but also completely amazing. I booked my first wedding and jumped in headfirst. Capturing a couple’s special day and seeing two families become one still gives me butterflies. I consider myself so fortunate to get to do what I love and create a lasting memory for my clients.
As a photographer, I get to capture your most cherished moments which throughout the years transform into gifts for your future generations.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
